This is a group for anyone 50+ years of age who just has to see a movie once a month. The focus is movies that entertain and enlighten without violence. For the start-up, West Edmonton Mall will be the location, the date Tuesday nights and the time-the early show (6:30 to 7:00 PM start time.). At the start four volunteers are needed to choose the movies and dates, post these and manage RSVPs and notices.

#yegfilm is a non-profit collective meant to connect filmmakers and accelerate film production in Edmonton. We have monthly meetings at the Startup Edmonton office in downtown Edmonton, where we all get together and discuss the projects we are working on, and afterwards we head downstairs to the Mercer Tavern for a drink.
