I have tried many book clubs, film clubs, and have yet to find the one that had a good balance between a really good discussion and a really good day/night out. So why not start one myself? Passionate about film and literature, and not one to pass up a good glass of wine or beer, this is a group for those who enjoy all of the above. Meetups to be held at various north of the river drinking establishments.

If you like to watch films but do not have people to watch it with or people who share your taste then you can join this group to find people who like to watch the films that you like and hang out for a bit before or after to talk about it. I have an unlimited pass at Enfield Cineworld, and I would obviously be setting up these meet ups at that location, but you can suggest other locations as well. Its a new group, so sooner we get to a few members, sooner we can schedule an event.

Since film cameras are having a resurgence, what better excuse to start a group? I'd love to get a group of people together and get out and shoot some stuff on film and then play with processing and printing. Everyone from film veterans to complete beginners are welcome. I have a range of small, medium and large format cameras that I'm happy to bring along and I hope that members will also have some of their own kit.

I start this group to share authentic Chinese films with people who enjoy watching movies, sharing your opinions and learning more about Chinese culture!
