The LA Film Collective is a group of volunteer filmmakers who produce 3-5 minute short films on an ongoing basis in Los Angeles.  We always need actors, writers, directors, producers, DPs, editors, composers and all other crew positions.  We also need ongoing access to all kinds of resources: locations, props, wardrobe, meal, equipment, etc. as well as mentors for our less experienced members. In the this meetup, I work on all the basics of acting. These are: cold readings, scene study, improv, and monologues. Scene study is the basis of actor training. We use scripts from films which I supply in addition to those brought in by students.
