A meet up group for impromptu movie viewing in a home setting. May watch eclectic series of films or may watch a series of related films. Choices generally selected by interest of group. Recently finished Fawlty Tours series.

This group will read books on writing, write, think about and discuss topics of a nature not usually found in daily life, and if the spirit moves us, toast on it. We will have an assigned book each month and meet to talk about it. We will also have weekly writing dates to "Sit down, shut up and Write," and we will also see films and go to events that are interesting to discuss. We will also have scheduled cocktail dates.

Banquets & Books is for people who are passionate about food and reading and who enthusiastically discuss books--fiction and non--about all aspects of food, cooking and eating.
