This group is being created to raise standards in Austin filmmaking and reduce the perception that Austin is not a serious place to make films. Members will be encouraged to carry insurance or work with another company so that each shoot is covered by insurance, and adhere to labor laws among other things. Members will pledge not to break contracts or renegotiate with cast and crew after services are rendered.
