Docs In Progress is dedicated to empowering independent documentary filmmakers and educating the general public on documentary film. We do this through a variety of public programs, including moderated screenings of documentary works in progress in Washington DC, Silver Spring, MD and Baltimore, MD; workshops on all aspects of documentary-making and documentary appreciation; and other fun events for documentary filmmakers, aspiring documentary filmmakers, and film afficionados alike.

The new School of International Service (SIS) film series, 3rd Thursdays, is held on the third Thursday of each month The screenings, in the Abramson Family Founders room, will start at 6:30 pm after a brief reception.
